flywheel...lighter flywheel makes shifting annoying (at times, depends on the driving situation), improvement in acceleration is negligible, amount of throttle reqd to pull off from a stop can be annoying (again, depending on driving situation), new rattles/vibrations are not worth it. wish i kept stock

My s2000 came with some voltage stabilizer on it. I took it off once just to see if it made a difference, not one bit. I put it back on just for the hell of it but to me it made no difference at all.

Whatever you do, no big useless heavy chrome wheels.

Absolutely sinful, not to mention butt ugly!
What NOT to mod...
Depends on your taste, desires and goals. I owned my S for 6 months before making the first mod and then did it in stages so I could appreciate the subtle effects of each mod.
I'd encourage you to write a "mod philosophy" and only make the mods that contribute to your personal goals. My "mod philosophy" is to have the best daily commute ever! So that ruled out coil overs, loud exhausts, hood dampers and carbon fiber fenders, but did allow for suspension mods, drive shaft changes and a super charger.
Know what you want before wasting your money.
What NOT to mod...anything that does not align with your core values (or your wallet).
