Just blew my ballast & igniter due to condensation in my headlights. I see a few ap1 headlights in my area for sell and was wondering if the ballast & igniter will bolt-on and work for my ap2?

no, unless you want to chop up the headlight I suggest getting aftermarket HID kit, its what I did

 

yes it will work.

I had mine setup with AP1 ballast and then once that went out i hooked up an aftermarket kit.

 

Is not going to work unless you cut the headlights to fit. I bought the ap2 headlights ballats and igniters and is a plug and play. They have a DIY here and how to do them and you will see that you will need to cut and grind allot to fit them. You might have problems down the road if you cut them.
If you going to do it is better for you to do it right from the beginning!
