Default Window/Door Seal

So it looks like my hardtop knocked this piece loose. Should this piece snap back in or do I need to buy a new one? If it does snap back in place; any direction or advice is welcomed because I haven't been able to figure it out as of yet.

Those pieces (#2/6 in the image) are called MOLDING ASSY., R. DOOR: 72410-S2A-023 and MOLDING ASSY., L. DOOR: 72450-S2A-023.

Looks like from the picture that there is a plastic push clip at the back end which must have broken off (probably along with the tab that it clips into) from your door panel. They also call #23 in the diagram a clip, so that probably is suppose to clip into place as well.

My guess is that you've broken off the tab for that push clip at the back of the molding, and therefore need to buy a whole new piece to get it to fit right again. Looks like they are a whopping $54.24 from Majestic Honda.

Thanks for the help! I found the exact page on majestic on where to buy, but where did you come up with the $54 figure?

If you go to Majestic's website (hondaautomotiveparts.com) and query those part numbers, it'll show you that they are $54.24 on each one.

it does snap in place, look down into the door cavity and see if any of the white plastic clips are broken and dropped inside the door (use a flashlight) If there aren't any broken white clips you can push it back down in place and hear it snap into position. If the clips are broken then you may have to buy a new piece.

In the FSM it shows (6) of the #23 clips along the length of the outer molding and (1) #25 push pin at the rear edge. Part #24 is a window stabilizer. Since they list it as an assembly, it should have all those parts in it, but the clips are also available separately if you just need to replace some of yours. Be careful on the fitment at the front end, as it fits into the "door shash" assembly (the part that the mirror bolts to) In the Factory Service Manual, it says to remove the door window and sash to replace the outer molding!
