wing on stock s2000
this^^
along with
1 suspension
2 tires
aero doesn't impact autox like it does on track.
As a side note, I got a second trunk lid (with wing) I will use for the track along with the R-comps.
So the car is a street car on the street and a track car on the track.

Sweet thanks! I'm running hankook evolution tires right now with a 215 245 tire size. Should I look to getting even better tires? Cause the s is my dd :/ and should I try out a 225 255 set up for when I go through my current tires?
I got my s2000 not too long ago and would like to get functional parts for it that would aid me when I go out for autoxing in the near ffuture. Would getting a wing, such as J's racing, look bad if I'm not lowered at all? (My car is ap1 bone stock besides intake n exhaust) thanks!

I'd suggest starting out with what you currently have, autocross a few times as is, and then start doing upgrades-tires etc.

I would probably look at wider wheels and stickier tires first as well as a good suspension set up first then if you still find yourself needing more grip in the rear then consider a wing.

Some better stiffer suspension will help you a lot to. The stock is t bad but it does have more roll than I would want. You could look at bigger sway bars as well. Case in point I think the wing isn't what you are sainting since you haven't really touched much on the car that will provide a bigger benefit than the wing will.
While the stock suspension does have a good bit of roll that doesn't mean they don't handle great. So unless you are planning on some high quality coilovers for performance reasons I would leave the shocks and springs stock for autocross personally. That or some koni yellow shocks and stock springs. Most of the cheaper coilovers will definitely stiffen things up but will also hurt handling performance.
For auto-x stickier tires and suspension are more crucial like people have commented. GT wings are for the track where you reach higher speeds. For now get better tires and see where that takes you then move on to suspension. If you want more info check out the racing forum. There are a lot of experienced auto-x guys there that are willing to help.
