Worst mod would be Godspeed HYPER-RS COILOVERS , for starters ... the front spring was way to long and it would sit on top of the front control arm. so their was no way to using those springs, I had to call godspeed and order the rear springs (due to being shorter) and I had to add them to the front coilovers. After that I switched the coilovers to full stiffness and it still feels soft while bouncing everywhere. Another downside was the coilovers did not come with a set of 4 bolt and nut to go on the lower part of the strut.

The only + side of this was I did get the coilovers for $400 shipped BNIB and they can go really low!

Id have to say the OEM seatback pockets, lol. Im trying to collect every single OEM part offered and I have to say this is the biggest waste of money ever lol
lol have you seen the price of the oem side skirts?
atleast you can see the side strakes.

exactly, I bought 2 seatback pockets thinking Id use it for something, but theres not even enough space in em to store anything lol, oh well..

this came with my car, i keep my documents in there(insurance, registration, license plate, etc), quite useful if you ask me..

I'll keep this thread back on track. It's supposed to be about horrible mods not bragging about how much money you have compared to others, or saying you are soo good that you "did your research before buying things". Its reviews, and I found it to be very helpful, so I will continue where it started:

Skunk2 springs. Oh my god, lower the rear by 1.5 and the front by 1.0 ...... WHY!? I understeer everywhere and bump steer like crazy. They're too stiff and totally crappy. The red looks good though, but that's it.

Hum. I regret my tornado, my carbon fiber intake snorkel, my k&n drop in filter, my 63 mm test pipe, hondata reflash (should have waited for the flashpro), my ap2 v3 wheels, led shift knob, act clutch package( should have gotten the oem disc instead of the act, 0 clutch buzz), and a a/c delete belt (I have just use it once).
you should tell us WHY you thought these were bad modifications. otherwise your post is totally worthless.
good point, my friend. sorry

tornado: should i go into detail?

The tornado.....? You mean that gas saver thing? You actually bought it?

They even suggested that I use an ap1 cover instead of an ap2 cover and I just needed to buy a new pcv valve for it...
How long ago was this? Replacing an AP2 valve cover with an AP1 is one thing you do NOT want to do. The original PCV valve design is believed to be one of the major causes for the whole AP1 oil consumption issue. I hope they realize this now.
Off topic....but I'd really like to know why AP1's burn oil. I don't think most of it is the PCV valve.

I"m wondering if it has to do with proper break in procedures. My 03 I bought used from a grandma driver. Never reved it much over 7000rpm. But didn't really break it in either. Just drove it off the lot, and like most new owners, I'm sure he reved it hard when he first bought it. He changed the oil every 3000mi, but he never checked the oil, so he could have been running it low most of it's life.

I bought it from him at 65.000mi. It burned about 1qt every 600mi. or about a qt every track day. That's a lot.

Blew up the engine and got a new OEM AP2 block and rebuilt OEM head. Broke it in like a baby. Nothing over 3000rpm for about 1200mi. Has not burned a drop of oil. Not even at the track multiple times. Now have about 17,000 mile on it.

I'm having Greddy rebuild the turbo (after just 8 months of mild street driving) so I can sell the kit and get some of my money back. Oh, and the oil filter relocation bracket cracked when I tried to install an oil pressure gauge in one of the ports, so I had to upgrade to the InlinePro relo kit.

Skunk2 dual cat-back. It was like having a noise cannon mounted under the car. Definitely made a difference in how powerful the car felt, but the sound level was just crazy.
Check to make sure you have no broken welds anywhere. I have this and with the silencers, it's "loud" but not as you describe. Without the silencer inserts, it may be hearing damage territory.

I paid 75$ to a professional shop to do it, then I did research and took it off before any damage happened, but my friend on this forums has this happen because he kept the 3m protection on long term

I've had the 3M brand on mine for about 18months, and all is fine. They make a thinner and thicker version, maybe you got the thicker one?
