Did you have adjustable pulleys on the motor and have any chance to play around with the cam phasing?

Did you have the head ported or just the RLZ valve job? Do you think you would get similar results with the BC3's and a RLZ 5-angle on an otherwise stock F20?

^^^^ I think these camshafts are only $600. Not too bad of a deal.

Thank you for doing this dyno wadzii. A lot of people have (had?) mixed feelings about these cams, myself included, and seeing this dyno and seeing some long time results will help. Now just to see the long time reliability!

RLZ doesnt do a 5angle...

but full port work wont do much as far as the motor peaking higher..

I really think thats a function of the crap stock intake manifold.

I dont have adjustable cam gears... and i doubt i ever will. I refuse to pay $800 for some cam gears from TODA.. complete rip off.

I borrowed these to test, and i can say that i wont be buying a set for myself.

I have about 150 miles on them with no issues, no chain slap, etc.

So Jason what's the plan? AP2 cams? Also did you say somewhere you are having someone build you a custom intake manifold? How did the dyno testing go on Saturday?

that is still better than my supercharged 2.2l. i lost 3 hp back to back same day. and my engine was VERY noisey with a new tensioner installed. after one race the rear cam holder had a issue (broke). i reinstalled the stock cams and picked up the 4 hp and the engine is stock sounding again (much nicer).

smelly rodent2 cams were installed and then removed

Yeah, im going to have a custom IM built sooner or later, gota save up some funds, drained em all building the motor twice.

I need to look over some more dyno's, i'm not sure ap2 cams will get me anywhere. If someone has a set i can borrow i'll test em, but i doubt i'll buy any to test.

I got my ass kicked by springs and retainers all day saturday, all we had time to do was test the cams in my car. We didnt get to testing them on a stock ap1.. in a few weeks we will though.

I always wondered why Edelbrock or someone didn't come out with a nice intake manifold for our cars. I think the demand is there (depending on the price level) and I know a lot of the boosted guys would benefit from them and a 70mm TB. Seems like if you could pay $500 for a better manifold, or $500 to have the stock one ported and polished most people would lean towards the aftermarket one for many reasons (assuming it made power).

Anyone want to fab one up and let's market that bish?
