This is all I want:

Doesn't even have to be polished. I want to throw a 70mm Tb on it and I will pay $500 for it if it will give me some low end and mid range torque, and maybe 7whp at top end.

I just got off the phone with Brad at RLZ, he said probably all it needs is a big tb.. I have an extra manifold, i'll see if i cant get a 75mm tb flange welded on.

If it were the TB, then don't you think you would have more of a drop in MAP across the RPMs? Aren't you just dropping about 50 mBar?

Oh, yeah, we talked about that in the other thread. I just checked my datalogs again, and see that my AP2's MAP drops about 50 mBar, but my rev limit is at 8500 RPMs. Since your rev limit is higher than mine (9200?), a drop of 70 mBar doesn't seem that bad. I tried a larger TB on mine, but my MAP still dropped about 45 mBar.

yeah, before it was around 70mbar at 9000 rpms, now its dipping that low before 8000 rpms

how big did you go and did you match the intake manifold?

I tried the SOS DBW TB, which is about 3.7 mm larger than the AP1 TB. The intake manifold on my car already had a ~68 mm bore, so I didn't have to modify it at all.

I think 68mm may not be big enough either.

I'm cheap and it seems the cheapest thing i can find right now is 90mm q45 stuff.. so we'll see how that works
