This weekend is a no go.. everyone at the shop is going to be out of town.
Lets shoot for aug 7th
Thanks again for letting me test these cams.
I'm still working on the part throttle and the vtec crossover. There is such a drastic difference from the low cam to the high cam, it makes tuning the crossover at part throttle hard.
the car does seem a bit more responsive than it did at first.
I just looked at the dyno run files again.. it was reading 105deg when we were running the bc3's .. i hope like hell its cooler next time.

Haha, another great reason for me to NOT have been there. I had already sweated my balls off Saturday putting my catback on by myself. Let me tell you how much I like taking off and putting on a catback on a lowered car... with just 1 side jacked up using the spare tire jack.
I'm interested in seeing where you can get with this once it's all setup.

The correction factors were as follows
bc3 cams 105 deg 30.03 in-hg, humidity 23% STD 1.04 SAE 1.02 221hp
Base line 98 deg 30.05 in-hg, humidity 30% STD 1.03 SAE 1.01 216hp
STOCK motor 88 deg, 30.14 in-hg, humidity 28% STD 1.02 SAE 0.99 204hp
the bc3 and base line were done the same day, the base line was about 3 hours before the bc3's
the stock motor baseline was done last september on my stock motor with an intake and aem ems.

Are you making a play for a Darwin award? It's just been about 3 months since the last member was crushed to death by his S2000.

seriously? something like THAT happened? got any link? man, that's scary. I did the same thing when i pulled of the secondary o2 sensor from my car. I'll never do that again.
I was almost crushed by the exact same thing as smirs2k05 about 5 months ago. I had just finished installing a different exhaust using 2 jack stands at the back and 2 wheel chocks at the front. I was tightening a bolt on the rear suspension when the wheel chocks slipped (on my slippery concrete garage floow), and the car slipped off the jack stands with a BOOM (left side)... BOOM (right side). The very first thing that came to my mind was "I WAS JUST FRIGGIN' UNDER THERE!". I didn't sleep for days.
