My F22c made ~204whp on a Dynojet untuned running on an AP1 (MY01) ECU and revving to 9k. Definitely a good and easy swap IMO, and well worth the money if you need to replace the motor anyways.

At the level I'm at right now though, it's great!

I'm a bit confused. When swapping in an engine from an 05 s2k into an 00 s2k all you need is the engine? Then to better perfect it, there needs to be a tune done.
Is there any benefits to running the ecu from the 05 s2k? If so I'm assuming it's plug n play and all that needs to be done is they key programming.

Interisting thread. If you change your ecu for another. You can swap the immobilizer. It's inside the ecu. A good electrical technician can do the job for a few bucks.

I dont know about that...safest way would b have the dealer do it
I plan on keeping my ap1 transmission for my boost set up down the road, im only gonna use the ap2 transmission for my na set up and tons of autocross
Also, I'm not switching to the AP2 transmission nor will I be getting gears, this car is fun without them right now
