My F22c made ~204whp on a Dynojet untuned running on an AP1 (MY01) ECU and revving to 9k. Definitely a good and easy swap IMO, and well worth the money if you need to replace the motor anyways.
Exactly, termination, how do you like boost with the taller AP1 gears?
It's awesome man. Just sucks the stock trans can't hold tons of power and there aren't any cheapish aftermarket options.

At the level I'm at right now though, it's great!

I'm a bit confused. When swapping in an engine from an 05 s2k into an 00 s2k all you need is the engine? Then to better perfect it, there needs to be a tune done.

Is there any benefits to running the ecu from the 05 s2k? If so I'm assuming it's plug n play and all that needs to be done is they key programming.
Well, in my case, you can use an engine from an 05s2k in a 03s2k and still get 193whp untuned, tuned will get you around 218 give or take with basic mods, this set up also allows the F22c to rev to 8.5k(or 9k) without reflash(00-05 dont have reflashable ECUs).With VAFCII, you tune @ WOT while normal driving conditions stay the same, if only swapping in F22c into an AP1 you wont need to reprogram anything, but if your swapping an AP1 ECU in an AP2 you would need a honda dealer to reprogram somethings

Interisting thread. If you change your ecu for another. You can swap the immobilizer. It's inside the ecu. A good electrical technician can do the job for a few bucks.

Keep your AP1 fuel rail and everythings plug n play, you'll have to search on the average cost for a F22c because it varies by mileage, seller, condition etc(around 2k-3k) Good Luck!
Also, I'm not switching to the AP2 transmission nor will I be getting gears, this car is fun without them right now
