Default High compression valves

Hi all,
As I am one of the NA hp desperate seekers, I came across blox racing's f20 high compression valves. Basically they are designed with a flat bottom in order to increase cylinder compression and they are lighter than stock valves.

Has any one tried them or know some one who did?
Your feedback is much appreciated.

thanks for the feedback, we have 98 octane at the pumps here, would it be fine if i go for both the gasket and the valves in terms of timing and clearance.

thanks,

mill the head.. way cheaper than valves and a spoon headgasket.

You can mill up to about 0.025 w/o running into clearance issues. That will increase the compression by 2 points, from 11:1 to 13:1

^DO NOT MILL the HEAD! You will change cam and crank timing. Unless you want to buy Toda 900 dollar adj cam gears to degree the cams and crank in again, I highly recommend against this. 2 layer gaskets are no good too because of this. High comp valves are good but it will only gain you a little, more likely it will just bring compression back closer to stock because I'm sure you motor has lost some over time of use.

Milling the head 0.020 will change the can timing by less than 2 degrees... not really enough to change things..
