Ignition bridge / Grounding coil packs
I decided while replacing my plugs that I would check to see if using another ground wire on the coil packs would help ground them out better... if that makes any sense... I seen a few people run huge round wires off each of the top nuts that hold the coil packs down and they said that the engine ran "smoother". Well unless there is something im missing here that is entirely false. I used my O-meter and tested to see if that would actually ground the coil pack any better when in fact it cannot. Just grounds the valve cover. Nothing on that bolt touches any thing on the coil pack of any importance, just surrounded by plastic then into the valve cover the bolt goes. now if maybe the valve cover touches that tower around each spark plug? Maybe that would do something minimal?... Ah well anyways I figured id bring this up for all the ppl who spend thousands on useless parts in hopes of making a few extra ponies.
