just performed a baseline on a stock s2k last Saturday for NorCal/Bay Area S2k members. I'll be doing more tests with supporting mods soon. https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/897...#entry21075584
Soo...a couple HP gain at 6,200rpm on a stock car?
As the post states, the test was inconclusive w/o supporting mods. Disregard peak numbers for the moment. Taking a 100% stock s2k down to the stock airbox, filter, cat and exhaust you can see there is power to be gained from 4-7k. Plans are to put these supporting mods on + Fpro and perform more dyno runs. I figured since this thread was here, I'd show it to you all. Macr88 took pics of the inside of the header. I'm impressed with the level of precision taken on the merges at the collector for this production header. Take into account that the OEM header is by far no slouch, we're seeing gains in an rpm range that's most beneficial for any type of driving/racing; building area under the curve. Just wait guys, I'm pretty confident this header will do well. Right now, with Skunk2's introductory pricing and the method of which this test was performed, we're close to $100 per hp.

Wow, that does look great for a mass produced header.
We are testing this at Endyn on a full built engine

This design eliminates the cat also. I only see one O2 bung in the pictures at the final collector. I assume it's for the main O2 fuel control sensor? Is there a way to eliminate the post cat sensor without a standalone EMS?

your stock cat will bolt on this header without modification

Skunk2's store says that it elminates the cat...looks like they have to update their website:

Part Number Fits: .
Honda F20C1
Honda F22C1

Note: Complement with a genuine Skunk2 MegaPower Exhaust system for maximum exhaust flow.
Includes gasket.
Race application; eliminates catalytic converter.
O2 sensor bung thread pitch: M18 x 1.5.
Due to large packaging size, shipping rates are calculated based on dimensional weight.

Im DEFINITELY interested in this. I have skunk2 exhaust, to say I have a skunk2 header would be great, plus the gains.

regarding cat delete, here's the word straight from skunk2:

"Tell the forum members sorry about that. Our marketing intern guy duplicated that part # slot in our webstore from another one of our headers that is cat-delete. The S2000 header is not a race header, as it still terminates at the catalytic converter position (or test pipe).

Store is fixed now "

Is there anyone out there that can provide an intake, testpipe, exhaust, and tune dyno. Then add the header into the mix, and tune it. I would be curious to see the difference with adding the header.
