of those 20-40 odd thousand miles u guys are doin on the ti retainers. how "hard" are those miles ? just up and down the freeways, daily driving or under severe race track rpms ??

i've got ti retainers myself and have done ~7000kms but of those kms all are at the race track or on the dyno... the car has logged over 350 dyno runs so far.

is it time to change my valve spring / retainers ?

Its easy to check them. Pull the valve cover and look at the edge of the retainer. If the edge looks razor sharp then its time to replace them.
