care to share what you've done to drop that much? 2520lbs seems really impressive.

2520 with very little fuel. Closer to 2600 full of fuel. Everything interior is deleted, just door skeleton/bars, carbon top, complete AC/HVAC delete including blower inside cabin, side mirrors, headlights, lightweight single exhaust, aluminum coilovers, puffo intake, 2.5lb lithium phosphate battery. FRP fenders. Nothing out of the ordinary I would presume.

Oh, I don't think it is for a stripped out race car. But this is still a street car with most of the roll-bar forward interior still intact and even a hitch for bringing the sticky tires to the track!

It will be difficult while you're still driving to the track. I forget how stripped down you are but I know you run ballast. You can probably still live with it if you remove (if you haven't already) carpet, sound deadening, airbags, speakers, passenger seat (remove when you get to the track), the hitch (also remove when you get to the track), trade hardtops with me. Not sure how close that gets you.

Yeah, 4 bolts for the passenger seat is a no-brainer. That can even be done in between sessions if I want to give someone a ride. Most of the remaining interior will probably stay, though. I'll play around with the scales pre-season and see how close I can get. May end up with the TTC reclass and playing with some front aero again...or just run Hoosiers lol.

cool thanks!

I assume you also are not in the car with your safety gear on for these numbers?

Actually, that's my competition weight. Meaning that's the weight with me and all gear coming off a session. I haven't weighed the car without me in it.

The thing about TT cars is that they can get lighter than full race cars due to not having to run a full cage. I just have a 4pt roll bar with harness bar for Hans.
