Probably true for the kind of tires and width you guys are running, but not quite true for stock-ish sizes.

 

One thing I'm not sure how it'll work out is the ABS. The diameter difference may not be enough to trigger a fault, but theoretically, the smaller diameter rear tires need to lock up more to trigger ABS. Whether this effect is negligible is not known.
