Default 245 F / 255 R alignment specs

Just bought a set of star specs 245 front 255 rear. I was running 255x4 NT-05's (which have a stiffer sidewall) with -2.6F, -2.8R and 0 rear toe. Believe it or not but I was getting a fair amount of understeer with that setup, especially in corner exit, no matter how I played with the compression/rebound.

Would like suggestions for alighnment specs for daily driving with 6-8 track days a year. Ive got skunk2 pro-c's which the springs are 10k F&R I believe.

No don't think I'm maxed out but was thinking about doing -2.8 square and set the shocks a little softer then the rear. Maybe a psi lower in the front tires too?

My set up:

-245/255 star spec
-stock sway bars
-suspension:Koni/GC 500F 400R
-alignment: -3F, 2.4R 0 front toe, 1/4 rear toe,

Car seems neutral...tendency to oversteer on exit if anything.

Hi I run 245/255 RS3 on my AP1. I had to change to CR bars to eliminate oversteer with -2.3, -2.6 and 1/8" rear toe. Then I raised front pressue to balance the car. It's perfect now. Bill

op, what's your current alignment settings? Hard to give you suggestions without knowing what was understeering with 255x4. Since you were understeering an upgraded front sway bar would make it worse unless accompanied by new alignment settings.

Don't know now since ive played with the suspension quite a bit. could have also been my rideheight (rear was a little lower than the front). Ive now raised the back end 1/4" above the front. I think that'll help quite a bit. Thinking of running -2.8 F, -2.5 R with 1/8" of rear toe.

You say "daily driver" in the op so -2.8 will wear out your tires much quicker since they're rolling on the inside shoulder. You may want to start with max negative camber you can get with the stock adjusters which would be around -2 up front (I'd then recommend -2 at all 4 corners).
