Default 6 PT Harness Crotch Anchor Pt on PCI Mount

Hey guys,

Any using the base mount holes to anchor the crotchbelt points. On my setup with Sparco Evo2, it looks like it is too far back and it won't be within the 20 degree from vertical requirement. I guess I'll have to mount it to the floor pan.

Any inputs/thoughts guys?

^This. I drilled mine from underneath, and do so very carefully so as to avoid the lines. They'll basically be touching the plate/nut. I also taped over the plate/nut to add a touch of cushioning to keep the lines from rubbing and wearing out.

I think with the PCI mounts there will always be some sort of compromise.

Lose those eye bolts and you can go lower by using a sparco sp49101 and avoid drilling the floor pan if that's a concern for you.

I had the nuts welded to the plates, used underbody sealant between the plate and the floor pan, then added some hose between the line and the nut. None of this is pictured here so I'll snap a completed pic in the next couple days.
