Default AC Removal

I was unable to turn up a specific length for the accessory belt with the AC compressor removed. Instead of feeding a tape measure around the plumbing, I was hoping one the gang had the numbers handy. A real bonus would be a common part number though.

After reviewing how the belt would be routed, I have a concern. The water pump pulley will go from 70% contact with the belt to around 40% after removing the AC compressor. Has this been identified as a problem or is there any way to mitigate this fact?

45" 6 rib. 45.5 will work too, but the 45" is the ideal part.

any parts store can get it for you.

And no problem w/ the water pump.

because you're a hosehead I googled it for you.

I use the Goodyear Gatorback Belt.

45" :: pt# 4060450
45.5" :: pt# 4060455

I've actually be using a 45.5 for about 1.5 years. but according to the tensioner, I'm just outside the "ideal" range. Davepk has been running the 45" for just as long.
