Yes, change the engine oil and trans fluid after every track day. I do my diff oil every 10K, but will change it every 2 or 3 track days. Check your clutch fluid resevoir, if it looks mirky and black, bleed it.

You are kidding, right?

I check the oil level and wear items (brakes and such) during and after every track day, but don't treat track days particularly special in terms of maintenance. Or at least, I didn't used to when I was tracking and street-driving the car.

Now that the car is track only, I do maintenance more on a time basis than a mileage basis.

But as long as you are running a stock drivetrain, I have seen no evidence that the occasional track day calls for special maintenance.

(I've done about 60 track days with this car. If people who have done more have some experience that counters mine, please speak up.)

^ I agree. Unless you go off track, bang a curb, or hear a noise on the ride home, there is really no reason to check for damage or change anything. If you are running R-comps, you might want to inspect the front upper A-arm mounts for cracking.

were you at willow on friday? Just check the fluid levels and tires for any possible signs of excessive wear.
