Default Alignment + Weight

How much does the alignment change after the driver(245 lbs) sits in the car? Should I sit in the car for the alignment?

Robrob found that it doesn't really make a difference. (I think)

Totally depends on how stiff your car is. Noticeable difference on stock springs. After about 600 pound springs, I can't even measure the difference

I never had a chance to sit in the car with stock suspension but like the others stated its virtually no difference with 600 and up springs.

My take would be that there's so much movement with stock suspension that I can't see it making a noticeable difference.

I will probably be doing another alignment soon. I will see if I can sit in the car and have them check if there is a difference.

I'm on stock springs so I might just sit in it and take a nap next time on the alignment rack.

Another data point, 800/700 springs, alignment didn't budge.

On stock springs I'd guess there's a very tiny difference.

I've always been in the car for alignments and corner balance. Why not be in the car?

I even have the stiffer CR suspension. I weigh well over 200lbs with my equipment on, and my alignment changes significantly while sitting in the car. I get all of my alignments done with me sitting in the driver's seat.
