I was just watching Hot Version Vol. 121 that featured a J's Racing track car doing a time attack at Suzuka using F 22kg R 22kg spring. o_O I think their street car uses 18kg springs all around with Showa dampers. Crazy stuff.

Heck yea! I love those Hot Version videos, and how they go in to proper technical detail of the car setup, with great feedback from Tsuchiya and other top drivers.

Yeah, super stiff springs, lots of the serious setups I've seen on the episodes are in the 12k-20k range. On a super flat course like Tsukuba, go-kart suspension is the way to go
