Just finished an alignment. Caster changed by 0.1 degree and camber by about .05 degree when I sat in the car. 800 lb springs.

Sorry for me the reason I know is because he sat in the car to get the steer ahead angle...which means the toe wasn't set yet, so I was ignoring it. I guess I could have just seen how it changed even if they were way off at the time but didn't think about it.

We had checked the toe when I compared sitting in the car the first time I had an alignment after changing springs a couple years ago and that time I was paying attention to toe and my takeaway was that it didn't change. Whether it changed by a negligible number like .01 or .02 degrees or if it literally didn't change at all I don't remember. Again 800/700 springs.

Did you have upper or lower balljoints for camber?
I'm at about 13 1/8 with the J's S1 and It was a significant amount like 1/4 per inch or something crazy like that.
I'm thinking the balljoint might mess with bumpsteer in a negative way but I've yet to verify that.

I was just watching Hot Version Vol. 121 that featured a J's Racing track car doing a time attack at Suzuka using F 22kg R 26kg spring. o_O I think their street car uses 18kg springs all around with Showa dampers. Crazy stuff.

Also 1080kg/2380lbs!?

Heck yea! I love those Hot Version videos, and how they go in to proper technical detail of the car setup, with great feedback from Tsuchiya and other top drivers.

Yeah, super stiff springs, lots of the serious setups I've seen on the episodes are in the 12k-20k range. On a super flat course like Tsukuba, go-kart suspension is the way to go .
