So it seems the general opinion shared here is that YES, you are that bad.

Hahaha Me this afternoon. I'll finish it up with the wood and scissor jack tomorrow. It's not like I can drive it anytime soon though. This Texas Hooker has mother nature doing some crazy stuff here in the midwest.

Come on man I had the front done in like 40 minutes. I've done civic/integra in under 2 hours, I guess I am usually going to a shorter setup though.

I can change all 4 shocks in around 2 hours. I've changed out both rear springs in under a hour. That's taking the shock off the car, taking it apart and putting it all back together.

You're doing it wrong bro

Do you use the jack on upper A arm method arm method? I was on that pace till the rear. It's not my first rodeo, just this chassis. I don't mind being told it's wrong but what is your method? How do you get the clearance for the stock shock in/out?

Stock coilovers are hard to install if you dont have the right tools. I use small spring compressors i got off amazon a while back and the oem shocks/springs slip right on without having to stretch the bushings. I can get front and rear in under an hour this way. Just installed a stock suspension, swaybars, and front upper cobtrol arms in 2.5 hours with some tweaking involved. Suspension/under the hood forum has lots of posts to help you out.

This helps a lot. also it easier to to put a bar in the upper arm and pull on that than it is to simply put your weight on the knuckle.

Can do a swap by myself in about 2.5 hours including putting the car in the air. Not doing something right.

Don't feel bad it's an all day process for me to change suspension too.

Drop off the car to my suspension guy on the way to work.
Wait for coworker (ludedude) to pick me up
Coworker is always late so I sit at the shop for a while
Coworker finally arrives
Go to work
Go to lunch
Go back to work
Wait for coworker to finish work
Go buy pack of Oreos for my suspension guy
Pick up car with new suspension on and alignment done
Drive home

It's an exhausting day let me tell you!
