Analyze my setup...
My instructor was Rob Burgoon, the guy with the purple miata. Before him, I was running in the low 2 30s but after his instruction and practice I got down to 2 19.4. There is still a lot more left in the car though, even as it is.

FWIW,
I run my hooisers at 32 hot. Tho I'm not about to say i've done a ton of temp testing on it them. Just messing with pressures over the years and I find they behave much better when I treat them (pressure wise) more like slicks.

Is that a street tire? Radial or bias ply? (Aren't the GrandAm hoohoo's bias ply?)
https://www.hoosiertire.com/specrr.htm#SPOR...A3S04%20&R3S04)
there are too many variations in the case of your car
ride height, shock stroke, shock damping, sway bar stiffness, sway bar binding, roll center, alignment and most importantly driver will all have big effect on the output of a car handling
if you can start out on bone stock S2000 then you will know what the difference of every change
for a reference tho, bone stock S2000 potential is about 2'10s +- 1s depends on weather
and if the driver can not drive some what consistantly close to the limit, the output of a car handling is often not true
that means if the driver is more consistant, any changes on the car is more believable
did u get to drive Sat or Sun?

There is courage, confidence, and skill. It's great to have all of them, but in my experience having courage and/or confidence without having enough skill to back it up makes for a short track driving career.
If somebody drops 15 seconds in a single day, after getting one session of instruction, then I would call that a very productive session of instruction.

.. Thats why I'm scared of the track I know I'll push hard but lack of skill/experience will come into play.
