Ankeny Bar rubbing Fr. Tires
Does anyone else have the front tires rub on the sway bar ends?
I’m pretty sure they do not touch when I’m on the course. It’s only when I’m using full lock to park or U turn I have to be careful with them. I have ground all the sharp edges off the bar ends.
Should I be concerned? There is no damage to the tires other than the inner lettering has smoothed over edges.
I have tried to contact Guy but I don’t have current info on him.
2005, built to STR rules (except the tires which are 140 UTQD) with a lot of help from Karcepts!
Fr Sway bar - Ankeny 1.375”, double blade.
Square set up.
Wheels - TRM, 17 x 9 + 62 with 255 Federals
Delrin offset bushings in front upper wishbones.
3.00 Degrees Fr Camber with 13.1” ride ht
I have searched “Ankeny” but as far as I can see no one has mentioned this.
Thanks
Peter

I have an early Ankeny bar, dual blade.
the end links actually touch my shock body. I emailed him and showed him photos, he suggested adding or removing washers to move it.
Ohlin DFV, 17x9 +45 RPF1, for reference.
