Default Anyone know CR spring rates?

Just curious, because I want to lower my Club Racer, but do not want to change the spring rate to dramatically. My opinion on the whole thing is that if I keep springs that have the same spring rate its still gonna handle like a CR. Plus I was gonna throw a little bit more camber in there somewhere. I'm not inviting you all to flame because I'm messing with the CR suspension so keep neg comments to yourself. Thanks, all positive and or usefull info would be greatly appreciated.

According to Sport and Compact Car (June 2008);

392lb/in (7.00kg/mm) Front

342lb/in (6.22kg/mm) Rear

Cool thanks alot guys, this has been bugging me for a while. Is that the same issue that did the suspension comparison? If so I'd love to get my hands on a copy.

That's not an opinion, it's a hypotheses (aka: guess); and it will prove to be wrong.

By lowering the vehicle, you're moving typical suspension travel to a different area in the stock suspension's range of motion. Static geometry will change, and total suspension travel will decrease, which WILL affect handling, even with identical spring rates. C of G will be lower too, which also affects handling (usually for the better).

At the very least, you'll have to play with your alignment a bit to get it to feel the same as it does now. You'll probably end up with more bump-steer than you're used to also. The road-race guys can tell you how to fix that.
