Default Anyone run at BeaveRun Flat Out Monday Event?

I registered for The BeaveRun event end of June, Flat out monday they call it. Basicly, you just go and race, with an instructor at first and then you get signed off.

I was reading the rules and it sais all open cars must have a roll bar and then it sais that factory bars are approved. My question was, I want to run top down, do you think they would let me do that as long as my helmet doesn't stick up too much?

Anyone gone to that track in their S? (other than fall colors)

thanks.

I ran an open track day there on a Sunday. Tops were allowed to be down. Windows a must. They did not require an add'l bar at that time(Mother's Day '04).

Yeah I called them a couple more times to double check. I would just be super upset if i got up there and they were like oh you can't run because blah blah blah. And I would also like to run with top down but in the rules it sais all tops must be up. Guess I'll wait and see.

Thanks for everyones help.

Beaver run will let our cars run without a roll bar. There is an exception, you must be running street tires.

I had to register just to say that of the tracks I've been on, Beaverun's got the laxest rules for being on the track. I'm not complaining, I'm a believer in Darwin myself so, if you want to track a POS then more power to you. There was no tech inspection at the last "flat out" I went to and there was a 15 year old girl hustling a CRX around the track at a nice clip.

I really enjoyed Beaver and had a great time. The other tracks I run at are alot stricter. Summit's lax compared to VIR. VIR they're downright anal.

Beaver
Summit
VIR

Lax to anal scale.
