Hey wassup there! I need some opinions from those of you who have driven both AP1 and AP2's on the auto X. My AP1s EPS is shot because water leaked into the unit on the passenger side and rusted out the worm gear. A new unit is VERY expensive but I found a member who has a AP2 unit for sale at a reasonable price. Im aware that the AP2 has a slower ratio but is this something that I can train myself to get used to? Or are the differences so great that I should continue my search for a AP1 rack. Im not to concerned about around the town daily driving but on the auto X course is where I feel would count the most. Feed me with your input! Thanks

I drove an ap2 a week or so ago and just drove an ap1 again a couple days ago. the first thing i noticed about the ap1 was how much tighter and quicker the steering was. that was just around town, can't say anything about autocross.
