Default B-Stock guys with Koni Yellows. What settings do you like?

I just bought my s2000 and it was already setup for B-stock before I bought it with Koni shocks and a Gendron front bar. What settings do you guys typically like? I tried 360* backed off from full stiff today in the front and really liked it. I haven't touched the rear yet cuz its so hard to get to that one but Im willing to make an adjustment depending on your recommendations. Thanks for the help. Im running 235 and 255 star specs.

Will depend on what you set your bar at, what your alignment is, what kinds of courses you're running, what kind of surfaces you're running on.

Probably go more on how the car is handling rather than a numeric setup and make changes from there. How was the car handling? Off throttle? Mid-corner?

I set them at full stiff when I ran them. This was on Hoosiers and 225/255 RE01-Rs for spirited driving. With stock springs, the car rolls around too much. Tuning them up to full stiff (rebound) kept the inside from lifting as much. If tou even have them re-valved, ask for the auto-x valving or have PSI build them to my specs (similar to auto-x vaving, slightly more aggressive)

Bar is set to 2nd softest setting(or only 1 softer setting available)

front: 2.3* camber
1/16" toe out

Rear: 2.2* camber
1/16" toe in

Here is a video of yesterday. I never had any under steer issues and a few slight over steer issues. Maybe try the bar set a bit stiffer?

SCCA run from yesterday

That looked like you are in the ballpark. If you do go firmer on the front sway, you might have to zero the rear toe.

Also, something seems a little odd for you to be able to get that much front camber without being lowered. Usually S2000s in stock form max out at 1.8-2.0. But I don't know how the toe out affects the geometry (most people run zero front toe).

I run a non-CR MY'06 in BS. I have Koni singles that were revalved to autocross valving by Truechoice. I seem to run everything a bit softer than the general consensus on set ups. i have been running mine about a half turn from full soft in the front and about a quarter turn from full soft in the rear. I am running an 1.25" hollow gendron bar in the 3rd hole from full stiff (2 stiffer holes remaining). Even though this front bar setting is softer than most folks, I seem to get too much understeer if I go any stiffer. It is pretty balanced but I am flirting with getting too much inside rear wheel spin. On the plus side, my car seems to be at least as good as others when it rains. This is all on R-comps so your setup for star specs will be different.

Someone told me that its not good for the shocks to run full soft or full hard??
I never confirmed it though.. Anyone?

CKit, not sure to be honest. I have it maxed out as much as can be and thats what our digital camber gauge reads.

Skahre, thank you for the info. Exactly the type of feedback Im looking for. Im going to move my bar from 2 to 3 and see how I like that and then play with shocks until I get it where I like it.

mas2kap1, yes, from what I understand that is correct. The shocks are less likely to get stuck in that setting if they are not at full soft or hard. I always run mine at least 90* from either side.
