apparently if a convertible is running faster than a 13.5, the vehicle has to be equipped with a rollbar in order to pass.. i found this out after a 13.3 pass @ union grove last year, but i love this track and would not prefer to go anywhere else. well to make a long story short, i personally don't like the look of a rollbar in an s2000, so are there any rollbar units that can be easily bolted in during install and removal? basically a unit i can easily install on a day prior to going to the track, and remove when done.. install time does not matter just so as long as it doesn't take more than a day nor require any drilling/cutting into the factory plastic trim pieces.. am i asking for too much or is there a kit like this out there?

The cusco bar is a piece of crap. It's been said several times, but I'm gonna keep posting this until people stop buying it... it sits way too close to your head and is likely to cause MASSIVE head trauma in an accident. Everytime I see unpadded rollbars at all, I shake my head at the owner's stupidity, it's just asking for subdural hematoma. Rollbars are designed to be used on the track with a helmet, even with SFI rated rollbar padding, you can seriously injure yourself in even a mild collision.
The cusco bar sits extremely close to the driver's head and unless you are less than 5'4", I wouldn't recommend driving a car with that bar unless you wear a helmet and can magically stop people from crashing into you.
Remember that technically a drag race roll bar must be 6 point, it must be NHRA certified to really count for most tracks. AFAIK, no one makes an NHRA certified roll bar for our cars.

Exporting the ELDA bar to Japan is not that diffucult...that way you can see it in the next issue of Hyper REV, then it can be re-imported to the US and sold at 200% of the cost.
I think the export version shipped to Japan will be hot pink only though...just pay back for the colors they send us!
