during the past two track days, i popped open the hood in between runs and found a little bit of brake fluid speckled outside around the reservoir. something to be concerned about?

 

Depends. Where is your fluid level? If using worn pads and recently changing to new, you may have too much fluid in the reservoir. People often add fluid during pad wear, then forget to remove excess upon using new pads or retracting pistons. This is no issue, just carefully remove until between the min and max lines. Keep the fluid away from paint as it will be a sad day otherwise.

 

ensure the top is properly on as well for it can feel like it is secure without being secure.
