Hey guys sorry, I have been away for a while... It used to be funny when I see you being jerks to other people but man some of you are tools yourself. Here are the answers to your questions and I would love to hear back from you.

I autocross very often in A stock but I don't care about classing anymore as I think I am going to move to track racing of some sort and I just want to have fun. I know it is a bad idea and that it will kill the resale of my car but I don't plan on selling my car... at least for a very long time when it has too high of miles to get any money out of it anyway. So do I care about resale value...no. Also I know it doesn't save much weight but really it's about the project. I love working on cars and don't do it as much as I should. I don't use the a/c, it saves weight and I learn things from it. I really don't see much of a down side. Oh and the comments about a CR I don't have the money for one now and you can't get one without the air conditioning but with a stereo and since it is my dd I really want a stereo.

Thanks so much for the ones of you who gave helpful replies.

I live in Missouri where it doesn't get super hot or cold. And you can defrost your window without air conditioning. Actually none of the other cars I have driven use the air conditioning when defrosting. Plus everyone seems to think I am crazy but cars haven't always came with a/c and people seemed to do ok then.
