Yeah. It is quite tasteful despite the message. I interpreted it to mean "I was second technically, but there shall be no substantive doubt." It worked for me. I had no doubt as he was killing the course in that car, and I don't think its even sorted out yet...
Mofo is creazy fast.

I overheard that the RSB was having some sort of an identity crisis? I'm disconnected, no I'm not, yes I am.
Nick?
Yes Noel and Rad, the FSB endlinks had some issues. After making a swaybar adjustment early in the morning, the new geometry of the endlinks meant we couldn't tighten the passenger side endlink completely, even at Full droop. At normal ride heigh in grid, you could wobble around the "endlink-to-control arm" side of the link freely about a half inch or so. The car was "Scary" transitioning from snap oversteer to understeer, back and forth all over track as it loaded/unloaded. I just kept faith in old' girl and cranked the shocks to dampen the bar loading in transition; seemed to work. We're at 4/6 on the bar, but couldn't get any real data or feedback on to the real steady state balance. I don't think we'll be too far off in DC. But I could see myself going to 3/6 on it, which is a good indicator because that's where Jay Toussaint like's it - and his car is beautifully setup and tuned. So, while we hoped for 12+ Test and Tune runs on the softer bar setting plus shock tuning, turned in to only 5 runs, good for some highly-elevated heart rates and seat time but not much else! Oh well, we overcame adversity to a degree and the problem was fixed at the end of the day, after the event was over, with some help by Chris Travis - thanks Chris. A super-shorty open-ended 13mm box wrench, and 4 crush washers later, and we were in business.
BTW- You guys were quick as well! Nice Pax finish Noel - You were actually 10th on PAX but they listed my 6th run (A Fun Run with Justin Lau riding as a passenger) of a 62.0, under Justin's Name/Number, and that knocked him up on the rankings board to 3rd place. His PB was actually a 63.2, right behind Chris Travis. I ended up sneaking in Top Pax on my 5th and Final Run alone in the car with a 61.547 to sneak it out by .056 over Horvath in the ES Miata.
lol..

Chris, I'm sorry if that was too retarded. My opinions on car have no reflection on my opinions on the driver, who I feel is a hilarious and great guy who does not blow.
Since we are talking about blowing, I would like to come out and say that I am a closet FWD lover. I daily a 97 Honda Civic Hatch. It's amethyst. And I am curiously interested in the new CRX. I want one in HPD colors though.
I edited out the video on my fastest recorded run of us discussing (me on the line and you working start) my "dunceness" of fiddling with the camera. I think you calmed me down as we were laughing about that, and then I drove my best run to that point. Can you work start at the DC Pro?

regarding the dc start, there will be a series of lights in place of me...
i just looked at the results, and they are all skewed. while some of the runs are legit, they are not all times i received.
999 in the kia? i know it is slow, but it is not THAT slow... farkas FS stock run was in the SS corvette among other things.
This is very true, all my times actually read as 5 seconds slower than they actually were?? I think you were kicking the start beam a few seconds before I went
Just kidding, everyone was really fast yesterday, especially Noel, Steve, and Austin. I revalved my shocks, changed front sway bar, and added the rear bar before the DC event - it worked awesome there, but in NJ with the same settings my car was super loose. The car was also deceptively slow, like I felt like it was fast, if a bit loose, and felt like I was driving pretty well, but my times were a lot slower relative to others than they normally are. Tory felt the same way, and Noel took one run in my car and also felt the same way although he just got one run. I'm gonna have to look at these videos and see if there was anything I was doing wrong.
STR at the DC pro is going to be a fun one to watch, that's for sure.
And Nick, you were flying, loose front bar or not. And by the way, my really fast run at DC was with a sway bar that the bolt on one side was all the way loosened........so maybe that's the hot setup? front roll stiffness changing as needed?
Funny how that works. You see it in F1 sometimes. Engineers spend all their time making sure the car is absolutely number perfect then during the race some "critical" aero component breaks and the guy somehow goes faster. Maybe that's the same for the FSB
