Had a wheel break and fly into the woods last year too...it's canon fodder for Brian Karwan these days.

 

Yeah, the wheel flew high too. It had to have been a good 30 feet up there. I keep my eyes open when he runs...

 

had a WHEEL break??? not just fall off? damn. that car went from never getting beat by karwan, to constantly getting beat by karwan. what a fall from grace...

 

Lol. He got beat by nearly 3 seconds last Sunday. Yeah, the freaking wheel last summer fleeeww into the woods it was crazy dangerous.

 

In fairness....Brian and his car have gotten much faster since then.

I can verify that the wheel flew about 30' in the air after launching itself off a curb. The wheel did actually break...not fall off.

 

bah, my car was on point. i would still beat him. probably the reason he hasn't let me co-drive yet.

what happened to the wheel? luckily i sold it with steelies on it, so i had nothing to deal with the failure.

 

woohoo! L3 made a class! (Assuming Shelly Monfort just registered the wrong car, as opposed to the wrong class - anyone know her and know if she'll actually be in L3?)

 

It was good seeing a lot of you today. The way Rad's car handled today after a few tweaks to the shock and tire pressure settings validated some of the "feel" based tuning we've been doing. The car feels very great with good responsiveness and power. Video of our fast runs.
