Just wantedto report that multiple people checked out my knob yesterday, and the general consensus was that my knob was much larger then barbato's knob. Not bragging, just sayin'.

After first sessions Nick and Jadrice are having a nice battle in B-Stock with Chris in 3rd. No Solstice this year, so the S2000s a look pretty solid. Noel (unless timing error?) is sitting on top of the STR field. Looks like the Dunlops are the overwhelming tire of choice. Good luck guys!

I wonder if this is due to..

• Kooks availability
• Kooks are known to have poor longitudinal grip (bad for launches)
• Lops are really that much more dominant of a tire in general

And, will this prove to be the case for the Tours as well?

Looks like AS is finally going faster than BS... but

DAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAM. Mark Daddio, straight timing BS AND AS? And on his morning runs? I dream of driving that fast!

You have to keep in mind that Fedex is at pretty good slope up for the first ~10-13s of the course. The 5.0 isn't short on power...

I can't get it going on the left course, but the event has been a lot of fun so far.

This event has been a disaster for me so far, I've got a lot of figuring out to do. But the foot race was epic!

 

Crazy day. Didn't realize how much you miss without radio in the car. It felt like I was lost at every moment with respect to position. Amazingly was in first for a long time, to be bumped to second, with Austin close on my tail. The right side course is on mostly grippy surface, and I personally feel really comfortable on it. The left side course is not that grippy, but not horrible though. I am totally coasting on my right side course. Four runs and the suspense will be over at least. Good racing in STR and BS guys.

 

Definitely wll be a battle for the trophy spots in str, I'm in 4th/14 but top 4 are all very close. And the battle of the bs titans will be a good one.

 

Congratulations to Jon for taking STR and for the rest of the STR trophy winners.
Although I didn't do as well as I wanted, I had a blast and it was great meeting a lot of you guys.
