Did my mouth just write a check that I can't cash?

I ran 2 seconds slower than he did last week, which on a course this long, really wasn't that long.
Just go out and have fun. Don't over drive the car. Slow in-fast out.

No experience, eh.
Just wait until one of the local and very well experienced guys beats you in a Ford Tarus. You'll be there every weekend until you run out of tire or money

Something like that happened to me my first time on an autocross course...it's practically inevitable I suppose. I haven't stopped since.

I did find it odd that out of 125 cars that raced that day, I was the only S2K out there. I was really hoping to see at least one other person, and hopefully a more experienced person, to ride along with me and tell me how to drive the S2K better. If I'm going to be the only one there, I have to represent better for our car!

I have owned and driven a modded 2003 evo and it was a far easier car to go fast in.
A well driven S2K can win in this situation easily, but with equally skilled drivers the EVO will win. As stated above the EVO is far more forgiving of mistakes.
But this is a perfect chance to sandbag him. He will win this time, but as you gain skill, up the bet and take his cash!

The EVO is way easier to drive for a novice than the S2000. If both were experienced driver I would bet on the s2000 but siince both are complete novices I bet on the EVO.
