Engine mods and SCCA ASP Rules

I understand that mods to the engine will disqualify me from ASP. Can someone define what that means? Does that include intake and exhaust manifolds, TB, forced induction, etc? or does it mean cams, pistons, crank, etc. What about the flywheel?
I would like to do:
Flywheel
Throttle body
Supercharger (yeah right!)
Can somebody give me a thumbs up or down on these? Why am I in ASP and not AS? Springs.
And no Tom I don't have the fifteen bucks for the rule book, I spent it all on mods

Check out this unofficial copy of the 1999 rules online...

Of course, no supercharger
And your right, non-stock springs are not allowed in A-Stock.

14.10.C: Carburetors, fuel injection, intercoolers and intake manifolds are unrestricted...
14.10.L: Any clutch, flywheel or torque converter that uses the standard attachment to the crankshaft may be used...

First of all, the S2000 is actually in CSP, not ASP.... this is because of the CSP catch-all that included all sports cars with < 2.0 liters displacement... the S2000, having a 1.937 liter motor qualifies. That said, until the car is actually classed in a specific SP, you are ineligible to compete at a national level event (National Tour, National Championships).
Flywheel is okay as long as it's made of metal, and so is throttle body... the supercharger is not.
As far as the engine goes in SP, you're basically allowed to do anything you want as long as it's upstream of the intake port of cylinder head and downstream of the exhaust port... but this stops short of allowing any kind of forced induction.

CSP? Really? Can someone elaborate or confirm this?
Shweet!
As far as competing nationally, I don't see the S having much chance in SP. Short of forced induction there isn't much you can do to the car to add much power unlike some of the others. Since chip replacements are allowed, that is a big edge for the competition. Seems a bit unfair competing against a civic with lowering springs though.

Shweet!
All sedans over 1.5L and under 3.0L not otherwise classified. All sports cars under 2.0L not otherwise classified. (See Section 14.1.C for update/backdate limitations.)

The SCCA has a new on-line forum. You might want to ask this question there.
