Default Engine mounts

I've had a few engine mounts replaced under warranty, and am going to need to replace my current ones as well.

Any recommendations on aftermarket engine mounts and/or success stories? My car is daily driven and sees 1-3 track days a month. I'm open to some extra harshness as my tolerance seems to be a tad higher than the norm, but I'm not looking to make the car feel like a full on race car, yet

I do believe the excessive wear is a result of a combination of my own driving habits (occasional hard shifting when I'm on a particularly good hot lap) and the ACT HD-SS clutch setup; I've had the clutch since the car was new. Going through mounts seems to be more common with grabbier aftermarket clutches (although the correlation may be coincidental).

Thanks guys!

Interesting. Must be all that torque from the F22. I just replaced mine for the first time after 5K track miles and they weren't really that bad (definitely made a difference, but wasn't a critical need).

I've heard good and bad things about the aftermarket ones -- mostly bad. Even the "street" ones are apparently incredibly harsh, and worse, they can deform after just a few Kmiles.

Maybe keep the OE parts and (I'm can't believe I'm actually going to type this ) get an engine torque damper?

The mostly bad is what scares me and makes me want to just stick to tried and proven OEM, and replace them as they go...

Then again, R&C forum feedback is far more valuable than subjective "parts and mods" or "under the hood" feedback

I have the 75A on my track car. I think they are a get design and value. The design is suck that the way the OEM mounts pull apart would not be the same on these.

Just had a set of the 75A Innovative mounts installed on my car.

The car is definitely louder and has a different sound to it at start up. The noise levels in the cabin are comparable to when the car had a test pipe. I'm back with the stock cat now. Taking a phone call wasn't hindered and the radio was still OK. You also hear a bit more of the engine noise while getting around town.

So far, no issues with stuff squeaking inside the car or rattling loose. Will have to get more miles down before I can give an accurate assessment of that issue.

Extra vibration is noticed mainly at low RPM (2k or less) when you are pulling away from a stop or idling. Especially rough when pulling away from a stop. Smooths out after you get moving.

Also have yet to get the car on the track afterwards. Will keep you guys updated. Hope to make it to an event later this month.

As a side note, I have solid billet mounts on my 911 which never bothered me. I'd say I have a pretty high tolerance for NVH.

The 75As really aren't super harsh. They're very much as described a couple posts up. And they do soften up a little (and I'm sure you partially adapt to the change) after the first week or so. But NVH is such a subjective thing you can't really get the idea if you'll be OK with it unless you feel them in someone's car or just try them out.

The best part is how steady they keep the shifter compared to the stock setup. If anything I had to relearn not to compensate for the thing moving around as you get on and off throttle.

Mike you're such a car killer!!
I had the ACT 6 puck kit when I was still running the white car and I've never broken an engine mount lol not to mention the newer blue one I got... totally 50+ events w/o damaging an engine mount and you've killed 3 already!??

I also like the 75a mounts but it causes the hood to viberate and thats the only thing I dont like about them.
