Engine mounts
The clutch could be responcible for a lot of your problems. Ive had success with the innovative mounts. I've never ran them in my s2000 but i have them in my civic after going through a couple stock mounts and haven't had a problem yet. Ride quality wasn't effected either.

As far as vibration and noise - the change from stock was startling at first. I'm on stock intake, OEM-cat back, and a 63mm HFC to mate up with OEM header and exhaust. I pulled out a decibel meter, and inside the car at idle is around 80-85db - that's enough to cause permanent hearing damage over sustained periods. At WOT under vtec (5800+ rpms), interior cabin noise is at 91-92 db and the way things vibrate inside the car is definitely different. I drive with ear plugs now. The amount of vibration is like a "massage chair" to quote a friend who sat in the passenger seat.
That said, i'm fine with it; however, I would not go any stiffer than that for a street driven car. In fact, even if this was a track only car, I don't think I'd go solid mounts for either motor or trans mounts.
I've had them in for around 300 miles now, so I expect that there is a slight break in period, but I wouldn't expect it to change that much.
Edit: the Megan Racing / Hardrace motor/trans mounts are considered "Hardened Rubber." I believe the OEM motor mounts are fluid filled.
Keep your heat shields on, wrap your header, and get a turbo blanket.

I've had a few engine mounts replaced under warranty, and am going to need to replace my current ones as well.
Any recommendations on aftermarket engine mounts and/or success stories? My car is daily driven and sees 1-3 track days a month. I'm open to some extra harshness as my tolerance seems to be a tad higher than the norm, but I'm not looking to make the car feel like a full on race car, yet
I do believe the excessive wear is a result of a combination of my own driving habits (occasional hard shifting when I'm on a particularly good hot lap) and the ACT HD-SS clutch setup; I've had the clutch since the car was new. Going through mounts seems to be more common with grabbier aftermarket clutches (although the correlation may be coincidental).
Thanks guys!

After ripping my stockers several times I got fed up. But I didn't want to deal with the hassle of the 60a wearing too quickly or 75s vibrating like a solid metal mount. So I installed Megan Racing polyurethane mounts. The throttle response and throttle blipping is a MUCH more direct feeling; yet I haven't had a single wear issue so far. There IS a very minor idle vibration that I've grown to love. It's one of those things that always keeps you aware that everything is buttoned down tight.
