First Time Track (experienced help?)
It's nice to know that a bunch of you have some sense of humor. Our track here is pretty small, i've watched a couple video where some of you guys race, and those places are huge.. This track in Istanbul (the only one i can say which is open for public) is completed (1 lap) in 54 seconds.
And the turns are basically wide angled U-turns, they're pretty sharp, and it is more beneficial to Slide the car, then slow down and downshift. It was my mistake to use the word "drifting" as in it does not mean the same thing in the U.S. as it does here. I for one, cannot drift (videos i have seen) and dont plan to either.
As i have said before, i have not track raced, so if experienced people would rather help me understand some stuff rather than just make sarcastic comments, it would really help..
thanks for all the help posted..

Ok, I'll bite.
You don't really need to do anything, just make sure your car has correct fluids (coolant, oil) and bleed your brakes. You don't need special brake fluid, fresh DOT 3/4 fluid should do for now. If you are using OEM S02 tires try ~34-35 psi cold rear and ~37 psi cold front. Use a helmet. Get some instruction at the track. Have fun and learn some basic skills.

We do half of our autox events here on a little Kart Track, best lap times are in the 60 second range. Your completely stock S will handle this fine, I can't see how you will need a brake upgrade unless you plan to be driving for hours and hours and hours and hours...
And seriously consider letting your friends do the drifting thing, if you learn proper turn in, apex, track out techniques you can both go faster and get longer life out of your rear tires.
