I don't have ducts installed on my car yet since I have a BBK and haven't needed to yet. Now that I have all this tire up front, I'll start thinking about it more seriously.

Great thread, you got my wheels spinning!!!

I keep hearing about this colors but all I ever saw was black. Anyone have a picture of these in something else besides, black, or gun metal gray? I am Laguna Blue and thinking about bronze/gold or a SBC.

I am running 17X9 with 255 Bridgestone RE-11's. These tires must be run narrow as I see Nitto's and R888 on the 17X10 in 255 and they look the same as my 255 on the 9". Anyone have any facts on which tires run wide/narrow?

Looking at the F14 web site I assume we are talking the semi concave and not the deep or super deep in all cases.

What color option is this? Its hard to tell bronze or black from the picture on your car.

I had a set up (different wheels) where brake ducts were rubbing bad. To use your words I just smooshed the duct in that area with my foot. Thus modifying the duct from round to oval in that area. Problem solved!

Yes, to follow up on this--the smooshing was effective self-clearancing, as I haven't had to do anything to them since then!

I've updated the original post to include part numbers of the brake kits I measured for. Basically, assuming you get the same offset I did if you were to order "+55", than you'd want to order a +52 to clear the Essex/AP kit, but could go as high as +64 for the StopTech.

Thanks. I probably will get a +52 to give flexibility to opt for either the AP or stoptech in the future. Any contact with the control arms or other suspension parts you experienced? You think a +52 can still fit with fender rolling and pulling in the front and rear?

You'll get a little more clearance than me, but I would double check the control arm clearance once you get it installed to be safe. The extra 3mm should be fine on the fenders, just roll them a little bit more
