Default GFL quick release

I want a quick release, but I'm concerned about how much closer it will move the steering wheel towards me. Current steering wheel position is almost a bit too close.

I just switched to the GFL quick release with this short hub ( http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/merchant...ct_Code=RAP221S ) before the last race weekend. I think it's close to stock, and much closer to the dash than my previous set-up. Very happy with the combination (Raymund had the same and I copied him).

Without the short hub how much extension is there with the quick release? Unfortunately I already have a hub adapter. I'd prefer to not buy another one.

BTW ... since none of you have come out to Utah to race on the new track, I OWN the S2000 track record!

Don't know. I guess it depends on your steering wheel? I don't think the quick release adds much as it seems to be as short as can be.

Quick release adds 2-3"...

Ideally you get the short hub unless you want the steering wheel closer.

Yeah, the short hub is practically a must with the quick release. I have a standard hub adapter with our quick release in the Miata and it's closer than I would like. Get the short hub like Richard and Raymund.

The GFL quick release adds 2.5". The Hub/Boss on Richard's link is 1.5". Use an aftermarket wheel with zero offset and placement will be at the stock location.

ARG! ... wish I would have seen the GFL quick release and posted earlier. I already have the Momo hub adapter.

Thanks for the quick replies.

Can some post a few picture of the GFL quick release? The one pic posted on GFL is poor. Dark on a dark backgound. I would really like to see how it functions. I am researching these for my project car.
