Default Guys running 255's up front - what you do with your fender liners

Im running 255/40/17 ET 60 all around on Coilovers lowered about 1-1.25''
Fenders are not rolled but my problem is front tires rubbing on the fender liner, especially on the track.
How do you guys resolve this?
I've searched but haven't found what track guys do to their liners.

Sounds like you need more spring, or to raise your car. I've never rubbed my fender liners except at Laguna or really bad offs.

I'm on stock CR suspension.

I was rubbing my fenderliners with an extremely similar setup with 700# springs and a saner bar in front... I ended up bending the fender tabs up (very easy, i did it with a light weight hammer covered in a rag) then used zip-tie's to secure the liner to the now bent tabs.

I don't understand this aversion to "self clearancing" the fender liners. Rub 'em till they don't rub any more. They are just floppy pieces of plastic. It's not like they won't perform their duty if they have holes in them.

I cut mine at the edges about 2" and sprayed undercoat there.. the wheels rub on the inside with a lot of lock on
I'd rather have something there than take them out but they are in pretty bad shape

I bent the tabs and then let the liners self clear some room for themselves.

In road racing (at least in my class), it's common practice just to remove the fender liners altogether.

I had spunky (member here who lives in Orange County, CA) do my fenders and he cut about 2 inches from the edge of each of the front fender liners. It's a clean solution to the problem of the tires rubbing the fender liners. I have a photo of it somewhere but I can't seem to find it.

9" +60 means you need to push the fender tabs back/up. There's no need for a roll.

I self clearanced and then cut off the loose pieces. Be sure to maintain all the push clips so the liner does not get pulled out and end up off the car.

BTW you can the push clips really cheap on ebay as compared to a dealer.
