Harness Mounting...new solution ?

i think this would be a good idea to use as alternative harness mounting location but a proper roll bar is still needed to clear the head. this would be good to use with the hard dog roll bar because the harness bar that it comes with is not in the ideal location and it will also allow access to the secret compartment, but only with an additional diagonal support bar like Rob mentioned.

4000 lbs of total load but divided by the number of mounting location. each mounting location would take part of the force, not the full force.
I seem to recall that OEM seatbelt mounts are generally designed to take around 5000 lbs of load without failing. They'll deform a bit but they won't tear out. At those kind of loads you're going to be pretty busted up but it's still better than making it to the steering wheel with your face or possibly making it part-way out of a rolling car.
OP - It might work, it might not. It's your body you are risking. In a minor frontal impact you'll likely be fine. In the big one when that harness would normally provide some benefit over the stock 3-point belt, you'll likely die when the stock roll hoop breaks/deforms as it was never engineered to be loaded like that.
I'd trust it for autocross to hold your body in place if you can find somewhere that will allow it. At most SCCA events that will fail tech as your head is above the roll hoop with a helmet on, and even if you can get low enough the roll hoop doesn't meet SCCA standards needed for convertibles.
One option: If you can find somewhere rearward of that to bolt the ends of the harness into, you may be able to pass the harness from the seat, over that bar, and then on to a more solid mounting point further back. Then it only takes a fraction of the load and it's more vertical. You'll still fail SCCA rules for rollbar height and design but you'd be less likely to die in a frontal crash.
It may seem like people are jumping on you, really they're just sharing their experience/knowledge to help you understand why this very well may kill you when you need to rely on it the most. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
^^ I See nothing here as people jumping on me, I appreciate all the input very much.
I very well know it won't be allowed in any SCCA stuff, and right know its only used for track days and auto-x.
I also very well know a proper roll bar is 100X better than what I did, but I got what I wanted out of this thread.
Believe me if it was easy for me to get a hard-dog bar sent over here I would, or If i had time for my guy to make a proper bar for me I would also do that now. One of those option will happen in the future !! near future.
But based on the responses, it seems no-one trusts the standard roll hoop + seat belt. correct ??

What everyone is forgetting is that the OEM rollhoops are designed for rollover protection. Yes, they are strong when you put weight down on them but I bet they bend like a pretzel with weight front a harness pulling on them (in that direction).
Anyone willing to test this with some old roll hoops and ratcheting strap?

This is exactly why a ROLL-CAGE exists. A tall person in the stock seat is at significant risk in a rollover in this car. The broomstick test does not take into account belt stretch, deformation, and body movement. The S2000 is a safer motorcycle. It is not a safe racecar.
