I am not familiar with that track so I can't really help you out much there.

If your car is as low as it is in your signature, I would recommend raising it a bit to maximize your suspension travel.
haha, yeah, i was also thinking about raising it a tad bit for the track. i also have a set of 17's on their way with some RE01R's so there should still be a bit more room than that of what you see in my sig.

Just got mine installed this weekend. I really like them, but they're much stiffer than i thought.

I have some concern about the front being so low. I have ride height up front set up at 65mm and the rear at 55mm. The front ride height seems a little low to me. About 1.25 inches from the tires to the fenders?? Is that normal for this. I know I can got up another 15mm up front.

The other question I have. The rebound adjustment on My KW's is done by using the 2mm Allen wrench that was supplied with the kit. Those purple wheels don't fit on top of the struts??? am I missing a part that connects the two???? please advise.

Alex
Yes the new ones has up to 19 clicks using the included allen wrench. The purple wheel dont seem to fit over the top anymore.

It tells you in the manual if you have the new one (blue sticker on the bottom of the Damper) and how ever many clicks = to how ever many turns of the old model.

Compression adjustment is the same as the old one.

Thanks for the input everyone.
My new ones click even on the bottom for compression adjustment.
The weird thing is, even though the purple wheels don't fit on top of the struts anymore, They still provide them with the kit??? go figure. It drove me crazy. I read the whole manual and no where it says that they don't fit anymore!!!
I'm going to get it aligned and corner balanced in the next few weeks. Hopefully it wont be too expensive.

Depends what you consider expensive... You should expect to pay $400-$500 unless labor in your area is a lot less expensive than it is here.

KW recommended to me for track use:

bump 0.75 all round
rebound 0.75 front
rebound 1.5 rear

this was great for dry/high speed corners..crests/compressions.. but not OK for the wet and or flat slow corners where the car would understeer considerably despite 215 front tyres.
I used these settings on my first track day to Buttonwillow on Sept. 28 and from pictures taken on my fastest lap, it seemed like my car was pretty flat (minimal bodyroll) even on the fastest corners.

Suspension mods on my car are as follows:
-Enkei RPF1s, 17x9 +45 all around with rolled and pulled fender all around.
-245/40 RE01Rs all around
-Suspension Tech. front and rear sways with rear bar set on softest setting.
-Suspension settings were set by WestEnd Alignment to aggressive street and track.
-Ride height is set with preload set to 75mm at the front and 40mm at the rear. That is giving me about a 20 mm drop at the front and a 35 mm drop at the rear.

Comparing my car to the likes of Hunterez, StinkyTofu, and Maxrev my car was a freaking 4x4. So, my question is, if I plan to lower the car another .5' front and rear, what Rebound and Compression settings should I use to stiffen it up a little?

Thanks in advance.

I'll bring this one back. Current setup as tested.
falken azenies 36f/32-30r
Solid gendron on full stiff
AP2
KW V3's with OTS settings

The car handled wonderfully compared to the last time I was out. This was at an autox on a concrete surface. I did notice the car oversteers, but very controllable. I'd like to think I can do something. I guess I could either
adjust the bar to the 2nd setting
adjust the front coilovers softer...

I "hope" to reduce oversteer and gain more traction during direction changes and what not. Thanks for the help and this thread.

Who has done it at Texas World Speedway and what was your optimized setting?

go over them slower, and drop your damping to the lowest level (that is assuming the high speed damping range actually changes significantly when you make adjustments, and that you don't care that the entire damping curve becomes progressive in shape and your low speed damping goes to crap). Welcome to transmissibility.
