I've been autocrossing on RE-01Rs and they are very close to shot. After the tire is worn to the wear indicator does the compound change? I noticed that they feel slightly different. I've got a new set in the garage but was going to finish the season on these (2 races left).

The car felt a lot looser at the last event but I just thought it was due to the temperature being a lot colder than the last event until I took the tires off and felt the tread. They feel a lot different than the new set I've got sitting in the floor.
