I suspect the BBK shifted the bias to the front meaning less rear wear. The URGE rotors in the rear lowered the temperature which would also slow wear in the rear. (I am running the URGE in rear and have noticed the wear is less than stock.) So your results aren't surprising. But even though you're not seeing brake fade, I suspect your braking distances are longer than optimum because of the front bias shift.

With the DS2500 pad my brake points were the same as stock with the Gloc R10/R8 setup, possibly less, but definitely not longer. Braking modulation was much better with the BBK though. The DS2500 pads were not ideal and I am excited to try this setup with a proper race pad. That said there is no doubt it could be even better if I installed the SBG rear kit.

This setup is certainly better than stock though.

Default brakes

Hey recently i’ve been thinking of a way to use two piston brembo brake calipers from a 2010 suburu impreza wrx sti or the 2010 mitsubishi lancer evo gsr, my problem was that it wasn’t a vented so seeing as you had no problem with the urge rear vented these could work but i’d also run into the problem of not being able to use the e brake, do you think this would be doable ? I want to make it work it would be pretty cool but so far no ones even tried, I only see BBKs for the rear that are like 2700 and they’re 4 piston calipers any thoughts or should I drop it?...

abandon - not worth the hassle.

If you wanted a true vented rear with parking brake. do the RX-8 conversion kit from SakeBomb.
