It'll attraction alot of attention from thieves.
This would be my main concern. Vandals, too. It's not that hard to shatter carbon fiber. I'm reluctant to even park to get some dinner before going home to take the wing off. It's not exactly cheap to replace if some punk who doesn't know a thing about the track decides he wants to mess up your "ricey" wing.

Or maybe some of the "no step!" warnings found on airplane wings?

ok ok...i might take it off for street duty. you guys have totally ruined my fun. the wing is so obnoxious that i enjoy the humor of having it on.
Sorry to burst your bubble...just trying to give you the reality of the situation.

Hope to see you at a future S2K Challenge event and put that wing in action!

^ I'm not sure if the drag is really appreciable, if you use a modest angle (especially if the wing is not near stall). At Buttonwillow, I didn't see any difference in straight line speed, all the way up to 100+ mph.

I keep the wing on because I don't have a garage to keep the wing, and I'd be lucky to drive the S2000 10 miles a week. Plus, my apartment has a gated lot.

Its not where you park or where you drive.....its where thieves are lurking....they will follow you.

^ I suppose you're right, Rob... I guess I could use a new coffee table.
