^ Do you ever do private track days at Buttonwillow? I'd love to go to BW without all the traffic.
yes they do. next time they have with some open slots i'll let you guys know.
we had one in Feb and i tried to get some s2k's to go, but after 5 people said they were going none of them signed up. i was the only one
tech you're own car. usually no run groups...just head out when you please. usually ~20 cars. you have to pace yourself so you're not exhausted by the end of the day.
good mix of really nice cars
movie celebrities show up sometimes too. I battled Paul Walker at the last one in his GT3...."that guy in the s2000 fast!"...had to rep the s2k baby
Wow... how much for so few cars? You should have posted here in R&C...
EDIT: Just got an e-mail from Aaron saying that they won't be providing free lunch with registration anymore. Fifth surprise run group, no free lunch, crowded conditions, a n00b NASA RX-7 driver that will race you to the apex, maybe no more time-trial session... what is going on?
RX-7 driver that gave me the point-by, then raced me into Cotton Corners

price is usually around $200 for Streets, but trust me when I say you'll get more track time than you would at most 2 day events combined. also it's much easier to test and tune in this environment.

That is more than reasonable... how much for Buttonwillow, though? I would definitely go along with 3 other S2000 owners.
they have done them at Button but i don't recall the price. it will more than likely be more than streets of course.
just to give you an idea they just had one at the big track at WS for $275.
they always include drinks and lunch....
at first my buddies were doing it as a way to just have fun on the track with max track time. they didn't care about making money on the track days. in fact they lost money on many of them due to flakers. so they have started to advertise at a very minimum level.
they run a shop for high end cars and try to invite customers to the track days. since they do no work for s2000 i don't think anyone will mind if i put a link to there page. they *usually* put info on private track days on there.
