Negative Camber
I was replying to the guy above my post.
The track guys run max camber and that happens to be more in back. The car is much faster with a lot more front camber than you can get stock. But it pretty well kills any hope of getting more thant 5-6k street miles out of a set of tires.

how could you think that was a myth?
if your tires look like this /---\ you're gonna wear the inside when you drive on the freeway.
Toe causes wear too of course.

Although you should never trust the guy selling you the product, I believed what he said since he can sell any size wheel you need.
Maybe Rijowysock lied?

I thought this was a myth? Isnt excessive toe what causes increased inner tire wear?
I think what you may have read is that for any given neg camber and toe, you would get more wear with toe than camber..........putting it in other words: toe scrubs off more rubber than camber does but both will wear your tire faster, specially on a street driven car.

yes you should always be skeptical of someone trying to sell you something and you certainly shouldn't pass on something they told you as fact
